Triangle Restaurant Week kicks off again next week. It will officially start on Monday, Jan. 25 and will last until Monday, Jan. 31.
If you’ve never joined in before, the concept of restaurant week is pretty simple. Pick a restaurant from the list of the over 90 Triangle participating restaurants and, well, go. There’s no extra cost to participate in Triangle Restaurant Week and reservations aren’t mandated, though they are recommended at peak times (especially for weekends).
The TRW benefit for diners is that participating restaurants during the week will offer three-course meals at a prix-fixe cost. Lunch costs $15 and dinner will either be $ 20, $ 25 or $ 30. The week gives guests a good sample of what a restaurant is all about, all at a reasonable price. You can easily preview each restaurant’s prix-fixe menu on TRW’s website by searching by location, price or type of cuisine.
So, if you’re been eyeing a restaurant for a while, there’s really not an excuse to go.
P.S. TRW and its partners have teamed up to give away a “Staycation” at the Aloft Hotel in Raleigh, along with a dinner for two. All you have to do is sign up for the TRW newsletter on its website by Jan. 27.
